Welcome to Liberti MontCo!
Our vision is to provide multiple opportunities for individuals living in the communities of Montgomery County to hear the Gospel, and witness Gospel community. Through this church plant, we hope to help create a new story for Philadelphia and it’s metro area. LIBERTI Montgomery County will seek to live, speak and serve as the very presence of Jesus for the neighborhoods of Montgomery County.
We are currently in an exciting stage of the Church planting process. We have been on this journey of Church planting for one year. As we approach launching Liberti MontCo, we are praying and working towards gathering. We believe God has called us to begin this congregation, and we would like invite you to join us on our journey as we continue to write this story.
We are part of a network of Liberti Churches throughout the greater Philadelphia area. We work together with sister churches in these neighborhoods. Liberti Montgomery County is a member church in the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA).
We believe that Jesus Christ lived the life we should have lived and died the death we deserved to die. His resurrection from the dead is the central fact of both human history and personal meaning in life.
We believe that by trusting in him and letting go of our self-saving strategies we find life, meaning, joy and purpose.
We are a people who are finding freedom and life as we are learning to trust Jesus, let go of our unbelief and fear, and find joy in the mission that he calls us to.
We affirm the summary of biblical doctrine contained in the Westminster Confession of Faith, along with the Westminster Shorter Catechism and Westminster Larger Catechism. Our family of churches also recognizes the Belgic Confession and the Heidelberg Catechism, as well as the Apostles' Creed and the Nicene Creed, which the Church has affirmed across the centuries as helpful summaries of the essence and activity of God.
Liberti MontCo can be identified by the essential core values that are expressed from the gospel of Jesus. This amazing Gospel shapes how we relate to God in worship, to each other in community, and to the world in mercy.
